Our Kitchen Director is a critical role to our leadership team that oversees all sales outside the restaurant, ensuring execution of Chick-fil-A service and quality standard. As a Kitchen Director your primarily responsibility is overseeing all BOH operations and ensuring food safety standards are being exceeded. This individual has a heart for servant leadership, seeks to do everything with excellence and develop the team around them. It is our belief that leaders serve best, working alongside our team in the day to day operations. Providing remarkable experiences with operational excellence and desire to have a positive impact are all minimum requirements for this position. This position requires travel to local businesses, be present with guests and team members, and minimal office/planning time per week.
Experience as a leader in the customer service industry preferred
Proven ability to lead in quick paced environments as part of a team
Previous outside sales experience
Experience as a leader in food service operations preferred
Strong Computer skills (Excel, Word, Publisher)

Director Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with the Owner/Operator to execute the business strategy

Learn the business and support other areas when business need or time allows.

Complete understanding of each key position in both the front and back of the store

Kitchen Director Specific Duties & Responsibilities
In this role, your time should be spent (in order): working operations & overseeing BOH systems/processes creation & implementation.

Ensure Chick-fil-A processes are being followed
Manage Food & Paper Cost
Oversee BOH operations- lead team members, team leaders in the kitchen by coaching to perform better, celebrating successes, and taking disciplinary action when needed.
Ensure Chick-fil-A systems are being followed/implemented.
Maintain a REMARKABLE clean production environment
Create, implement and hold accountable team members to daily check-list
Ensure product is date labeled and rotated FIFO
Maintain all equipment, coordinate any repairs that are needed to ensure that routine Maintenance is complete in alignment with Chick-fil-A operating systems
Assist with the ownership of truck order, produce order, bread order
Responsible for health inspections, quality and food safety audits and end of month Chick-fil-A Beachwood Place Mall.
Assist in the training of team members and leaders in both FOH and BOH operations
Conduct Daily SAFE evaluations, monthly FSE and work with leadership team to identify trends and create tactical plans to make sure findings are corrected.
Align daily practices of the kitchen with the vision of the organization and the current goals of the organization.
